Corner word · not the shop title
thugMATH
The plate under the name.
Cream paper (#FDF5E2). Purple ink (#2C1660). One rectangle that keeps the house honest.
The golden-ratio rectangle
Brand plates sit in a φ rectangle — long side to short ≈ 1.618. Not decoration first. Proportion first. The shop image is cut to that frame so the lettering can rest without shouting.
Square inside the long side. Remainder is another φ. Spiral if you want it; the quiet version is just the frame.
Names on the plate
Shop-sign discipline: the door title keeps its house casing — Alpha Standard i.Q. Test — as plate lettering, not a sticker.
Alternate plate names follow the same quiet rule: lowercase for the soft half of a compound, caps for the hard half, when the house wants a corner word rather than a marquee.
- thugMATH — corner word pattern (this page).
- Shop titles stay shop titles. Do not promote the corner word into the hero sign.
- Lowercase application: soft lead-in words stay lowercase; the payload may stand in caps when it is the house’s mathematical half.
